Company overview

Who we are at a glance — the integrated trade-protection model behind our 87-country coverage.

Thai Insurances (Thai Insurances) is an international trade-protection company headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand. We integrate four disciplines that are usually purchased separately — insurance brokerage, escrow administration, on-ground verification, and trade-risk advisory — into a single accountable engagement.

The model exists because trade risk is interconnected. A cargo policy is only as good as the verification behind it; an escrow release is only as safe as the inspection that triggers it. By unifying these functions under one standard of evidence and one point of accountability, we remove the gaps that losses slip through.

We serve importers, exporters, manufacturers, trading companies, and financial institutions across 87 countries, with the densest coverage in ASEAN, China, India, and the Gulf.

Our story

From a Bangkok verification desk to a global alliance.

Thai Insurance & Escrow Alliance was founded in 2020 by a team of insurance underwriters and field investigators who kept seeing the same failure: honest businesses losing money not to market forces, but to distance, opacity, and broken trust.

We began as a Bangkok verification desk — three investigators confirming that factories existed, that capacity was real, and that the person on the other end of a contract was who they claimed to be. Word spread quickly among importers who had been burned.

Clients then asked us to protect the money, not just the information. We built escrow structures that released funds only against evidence we had gathered ourselves. Then they asked us to protect the cargo. Then the receivable. Each request pulled us further along the chain of trade risk.

Today, that chain is our product. Insurance, escrow, verification, and risk advisory operate as one integrated practice — so the insurer trusts the verification, the escrow agent trusts the inspection, and the client trusts all of it.

We remain headquartered in Bangkok, at the crossroads of the world's busiest trade corridors, and we remain deliberately independent: we answer to clients, not to any single insurer, bank, or marketplace.

Mission & vision

Our Mission

To eliminate the trust gap in international trade by providing integrated insurance, escrow, and verification protection that gives businesses the confidence to trade globally.

Our Vision

A world where any verified business — regardless of size or origin — can trade across borders with the same confidence it trades across the street.

How we get there

Integrate, don't fragment

Trade risk is one problem. We deliver one coordinated answer instead of four disconnected products.

Evidence over assertion

Every underwriting, escrow, and release decision is grounded in independently gathered evidence.

Independence as a feature

We are retained by clients, not counterparties. Our only incentive is the client's protection.

Grow the network, keep the standard

We expand coverage through vetted partners who meet a single global standard of evidence and conduct.

Mission & vision in detail

Core values

The principles that govern every engagement — tested on every transaction.

Integrity

We operate with complete transparency and uphold the highest ethical standards in every transaction — even when no one is watching.

Evidence

We deal in proof, not promises. Every report, release, and recommendation is grounded in verifiable fact.

Global Perspective

With partners in 87 countries, we bring local expertise and cultural fluency to every international transaction.

Client First

Every solution is tailored to the client's specific trade routes, industries, and risk profile — never a template.
